Getting my daughters PC Windows 10 to Windows 11 upgrade ready in three stream sessions.

I had first to clean it from dust after few years of neglect and replace thermal paste on hot-spots (CPU, GPU.. .). This PC configuration was also used for around one year to mine ETHEREUM POW (Proof of Work) ($ETH) until they switched to POS (Proof of Stake).

Windows 10 to Windows 11 in-place upgrade was a successfully completed after fulfilling Windows 11 requirements and troubleshooting along the way:

• Enabling TMP in UEFI (AMD CPU fTMP)
• MBR to GPT conversion before enabling (UEFI) the Secure Boot / disabling CSM (compatibility module)) – had to shrink installation partition by 300 MB (in Disk Management right-clicked on drive and selected “Shrink”).
• Low storage space on Windows installation drive – tried using USB slow MicroSD flash card for Windows 11 updates, that was way to slow so I stopped after waiting over 3hrs (3% progress reached), and added another internal larger hard disk drive
• BSOD: “Page Fault In Nonpaged Area” error – had to enable system managed virtual memory (swap file) for all drives.

• CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
• GPU: ASUS RTX 2060 6 GB ram
• Motherboard: MSI MPG X570 GAMING PLUS REV. 2
• Power supply: CORSAIR CX600 (faulty) – original built in,
  in the end of the process replaced with used CHIEFTEC A-90 (gold plated)
