Mixing WP website & streaming. [se5-ep24]

I’m developing a workflow for keeping “real time” show notes during live streaming or recording an episode for viewers during the session. And to automagically update the text in the template that I copy and paste as soc. net. status update and the title in the (“On The Air! Stream notification.“) page for website visitors.

That post I can clone and publish as a stand alone and unique article on my blog after the stream to keep reference. (Bonus value created).

I’m using a WP plug-in to clone (duplicate) posts or pages. That allows me to reuse the original post for next stream. Just put new title (the original URL should not change) and text.

To “connect” the OBS Browser source I use two specialised pages (Show NOTES & (Stream Content Title-Topic) with Query Loop block and customised template that updates the content from “!this” post. The URLs of those pages are used in OBS Browser sources for vertical (the notes) and horizontal (Title) scrolling text (dynamic website content).

By adding to stream (OBS Browsers source) content from website, the live show notes.

I created and published a post that will be used over and over in every stream.

The URL of that post (this) must never change as it is used as URL in OBS Browser source and on this website on more than one place. To fetch updated content and title before and during the stream.

So, I use the Query Loop block to fetch the title and content of the “Live show notes” post to update dynamically content on this website in more than one place:

About the perma OGs & VIPs “The SUPERS at Mali Vir Eddy”

.

“SUPERS All Time Hall Of Fame” is this page to claim (submit with the comment form) status and enter “THE ALL TIME HALL OF FAME”!

And I use this page (SUPERS in OBS) to render the “SUPERS RANKINGS” in the stream video.
