The show notes and procedures

I got new 2TB NVMe M.2 SSD to expand internal storage on gaming PC.

  • doing hardware upgrade, install new SSD onto motherboard, need to unplug GPU card from PCIE slot to clear the access
  • install and test Pop!_OS Linux on my gaming rig (PC that has Windows 10 already installed and games setup)
  • first test live Pop!_OS Linux boot from USB drive, with all existing drives offline (disconnected)
  • create partitions for Pop!_OS, and one NTFS for MS windoz
  • Extra at the end: Play testing Homeworld 2 (remaster) in Windows on same PC
