I dive into the process of creating a featured image collection, focusing on image selection, compression, and layout design. Here’s a quick overview of what I cover:
- Image Processing: I compress old images to reduce file sizes to around 50 KB for better performance.
- Featured Collection Setup: I select and merge images, experimenting with different arrangements and dimensions to enhance visual appeal.
- Layer Management: I demonstrate how to organize layers effectively and lock them to prevent accidental changes.
- Cropping and Scaling: I explore cropping techniques and scaling images down while maintaining clarity and meaning.
- Design Workflow: I share insights on transitioning to a more modern app and my gradual shift to Linux for design work.
